Laubach began a partnership with the San Diego County Library L.E.A.R.N. ESL program around 2006. Because of this invaluable collaboration and financial support, we are able to provide professionally trained tutors, materials, and spaces where learners can study with their tutors in classes or on a one-on-one basis. Our collaboration was selected by the National Association of Counties as a winner of the 2008 Acts of Caring Awards, which recognizes the top county volunteer programs in the U.S.
We are a member of ProLiteracy, a nonprofit international literacy organization based in Syracuse, New York.
